Have you ever dreamed about participating in a mission trip with Mobility Worldwide?
Maybe you want to go to Central America or even Africa, helping people with leg disabilities become mobile?
It's an awesome dream, and it can come true for you!
Mobility Worldwide volunteers from Phenix City participated in this distribution trip organized by Partners for Care. It was held in 2023 near the Indian Ocean in Kenya.
If you are a young adult (a student or young professional ages 18-35), please consider applying now for a $2000 matching grant for travel and expenses.
The Joann Shore Fund for Servant Leadership was established to honor her life. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for young people and to instill a service mindset across international boundaries, promote empathy and respect, and to deepen appreciation for different cultures, perspectives, and challenges.
Complete the application and agree to serve in the Mobility Worldwide shop in Phenix City before your departure. If your application is selected, you will receive up to $2000 in matching travel and expenses.
Recipients of the awards will be asked to share a brief post-trip report of their experience along with photos and/or video that can be shared with the fund donors and friends of Joann, and through Mobility Worldwide communication channels.
The first round deadline is December 1, 2024. Apply now! See links below for documents.
