I am so excited to let you know that as our recent Christmas season was unfolding, your gift of 231 Mobility Carts was shipped! Designated for the leg disabled of Kenya, the carts were loaded out of Moving Office Equipment's warehouse on December 17th by their awesome personnel.Â
Many thanks to the volunteers and donors who turned the dream of this shipment, into a reality.
Each Mobility Cart was built from parts and components which were cut, drilled, sanded, deburred, painted, assembled, and packed by folks like you who serve simply to show their love for Christ.Â
These 231 Mobility Carts were built over a period of 15 months and required over 5700 volunteer hours.
Partners for Care is our ministry partner whose wonderful staff will be working hard to make sure each Mobility Cart is delivered to a person whose life will be changed. We expect that the Mobility Carts will arrive in Nairobi, Kenya in early April.
During 2025, I hope to continue to bring you stories of beneficiaries who because of your generosity, are now able to move about their communities, enjoy dignity, and experience opportunities which enhance their lives.
Two years ago, I met Dickson. This Kenyan man was a beneficiary of your 2022 shipment of Mobility Carts. Dickson's life was changed by your gift. Sadly, there are many more who also desperately desire the gift of mobility. Your December 2024 shipment will soon aid many.
Would you pledge, with me, to work to provide another shipment of 231 Mobility Carts in December 2025? Together, we can make the world mobile!
I recently completed a short story in both video and booklet formats entitled "Something I Learned from Dickson." You can view the video in this blog post.Â
If you would like a copy of the booklet version, let me know and I'll get one to you.
One more thing, If you are not a member of the Mobilizer Community, please consider joining. Your monthly gift combined with the gifts of others will bring mobility to those crawling in the dirt.
This young girl enjoys the gift of mobility because you had compassion.
